Office Manager/Bookkeeping Associate

Job Summary

Gard Communications is looking for an experienced and organized all-around pro to join the team and help keep things running. Located in downtown Portland, we are creative, professional and take a full-service approach to public relations and advertising. You should be prepared to do a little bit of everything. Duties include maintaining the office, supplies and equipment, assisting with data entry for accounts payable and receivable, and a little IT and HR support for good measure. You’ll help coordinate staff travel and organize social events and meetings for staff and clients.

Also, you’ll need to:

  • Understand general bookkeeping principals
  • Be proficient with web research and MS Office for Mac (mostly Word and Excel)
  • Have a least one year of professional office experience
  • Two years college or equivalent

This is a FT position with preference given to local applicants. Please no staffing or recruiting firms.
