Finding New Ways to Talk About One of Life’s Inevitable Certainties

Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider speaking at the 2017 End Well Symposium in San Francisco, CA

Spearheading that movement is Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, one of Gard Communications’ newest clients and the founder of the annual End Well Symposium. A day-long  gathering of professionals from across disciplines — caregivers, patients, nurses, artists, educators, entrepreneurs and others — End Well is trying to help people create a new roadmap that will transform living and dying into a fully human and humane experience for everyone.

The 2019 symposium took place Thursday, Dec. 5, in San Francisco and featured, among others, country music star Tim McGraw and Meghan McCain, co-host of “The View.”

In advance of the symposium, the San Francisco Chronicle published Ungerleider’s op-ed, “Talking About Death and Dying Doesn’t Have to be Difficult.”

It’s an inspiring read about an important and urgent issue that we’ll all experience at some point in our lives.
