Our Work
Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland
The housing industry looked a lot different when the HBA was founded in 1936. While its membership has changed dramatically over the years, now including many small business owners, builders, remodelers, craftsmen and industry professionals, the HBA’s image has lagged. It was holding them back.
We began to reshape that image by helping the HBA reframe its story. Then we leveraged their leadership and knowledge on housing and land use issues to position them, rightfully, as experts for reporters working on those complicated local issues. Finally, we helped generate attention for the HBA’s charitable arm, the Home Builders Foundation.
SERVICES: Strategy, messaging, public relations.
