Removing the Consent Decree

For almost 40 years, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde has abided by an unjust and biased consent decree limiting where, when and how tribal members may hunt and fish. Gard is helping the Tribe to remove the decree with an ongoing public affairs campaign. We have brought the issue to life with a video of tribal members and an op-ed by Tribal Chair Cheryle Kennedy showing the importance of fishing and hunting to the Tribe’s history, identity and way of life.
