Gard’s PR work gets a nod from the PR pros

It’s always nice to get a little notice for a job well done. And this month, Gard got a little of that from the Public Relations Society of America Oregon Chapter.

On Thursday, Nov. 18, PRSA celebrated its annual Oregon Spotlight Award and Award of Distinction Honorees. The Spotlight Awards recognize campaigns and tactics that exemplify excellence and leadership in public relations, digital media and integrated communications.

We submitted two of our campaigns – and both took home Merit Awards from PRSA.

The first was a campaign we did for the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative, which runs Oregon’s bottle and can redemption program. Titled “Celebrating 50 years of Oregon’s iconic Bottle Bill,” the campaign featured a Happy Birthday video, a statewide Hidden Bottle Hunt(the first), statewide media pitching and social media promotions.

We also submitted our “Moda Health Minute” campaign, which was a way to position Moda and its professionals as the go-to experts on wellness, nutrition, mental health and other topics. Partnering with KATU, the campaign included 18 segments on KATU’s popular AM Northwest and Afternoon Live shows featuring interviews with Moda experts.

Gard appreciates the recognition from PRSA, and we congratulate all the other winners of this year’s awards.
