Calling All Teachers

We all remember grade school. We have good memories and maybe some not-so-good memories. One thing is clear – when kids are inspired by a truly interesting classroom and teacher, great things happen.

That’s what U.S. Cellular’s Calling All Teachers program is all about. The Chicago-based cellular company that’s focused on providing the world’s best customer experience and the highest call quality of any national carrier, is donating up to $1 million to fund teacher classroom projects across the country for the upcoming school year. Through DonorsChoose.org, teachers in U.S. Cellular’s footprint can post their project and funding requests from August 11 to September 21. Selected projects will be announced in October. Teachers outside of U.S. Cellular’s footprint are still encouraged to post their projects for funding at DonorsChoose.org.

Over the years, the company has funded more than 4,500 classroom projects through Calling All Teachers. What a great way to have a positive impact in local communities!
