This high-profile event is one of the most impactful ways we have seen a company deepen its relationships with community members and organizations.
“The Standard values public service, and we live this value by promoting and supporting employee volunteerism and giving,” said Greg Ness, chairman, president and CEO of The Standard. “The Volunteer Expo is a tangible way for us to take our values to the larger community by providing a fun matchmaking opportunity for nonprofits and potential volunteers.”
Portland hosted 131 nonprofits and Cincinnati hosted 41. Thousands of attendees learned how they can make a difference in their communities, no matter what their interests or skills are. Tens of thousands of people learned about the event and engaged through social media. And more than a million viewers and listeners saw or heard of it through television, radio and online.
Looking forward to next year!
