Have you ever wanted to volunteer or get involved with a nonprofit, but weren’t sure where to start? There are so many great nonprofits that make a difference in the community, and they depend on the public’s support to do their important work.
That’s why we’re so excited about The Standard’s annual Volunteer Expos, which take place each September in Portland, Oregon and Cincinnati, Ohio. These annual events bring a wide array of nonprofits together to one location with one important goal: to create new opportunities for the public to get to know and get involved with local nonprofits, helping Oregonians and Cincinnatians discover service and donation opportunities that fit their skills and interests.
The Volunteer Expos are a great way to learn more about nonprofits that make a difference in the community. Participating organizations represent a wide variety of focus areas including arts, culture, humanities, the environment, animal welfare, health, human services and more.
We’re proud to work with The Standard and participate in these wonderful community events. Join us next Thursday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pioneer Square, or in Cincinnati on Sept. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fountain Square. Learn more about these events »
